Red Centre

Discover the heart of Australia in the Red Centre. Stand in awe of ancient rock art, marvel at natural wonders and be humbled by the people.

Red Centre tours will show you the spiritual centre of Australia, rich in both culture and beauty. The Uluru region is home to two of Australia’s most famous rock formations, a mighty canyon and an ancient indigenous culture rich in story, dance and art.

Experience Aboriginal culture, iconic wildlife and desert adventures amongst the changing colours of Uluru, Kings Canyon, Alice Springs and West MacDonnell Ranges.
Red Centre tours showcase an extraordinary landscape of desert plains, weathered mountain ranges, rocky gorges and some of Australia’s most sacred Aboriginal sites. Alice Springs – known to locals
as simply “Alice” – is a great base for exploring famed sites such as Uluru, its sister rock formation Kata Tjuta, Kings Canyon, the West MacDonnell Ranges and their iconic Larapinta Trail.
Just outside Alice Springs, animal lovers can also settle
in for a cuddle with Australia’s national animal at the Kangaroo Sanctuary. Open for tours Tuesday through Friday in the late afternoons and lasting about 2.5 hours, travellers get the chance to meet some of the beautiful red kangaroos that are typical of the Red Centre and even hold a joey.
